Road trips are great fun…that is if you are prepared. If you are a smoker, you would be packing your smoking supplies too. But how do you do it? Do you pack your entire smoking room so that you won’t miss anything? Well you don’t have to. That is why we have prepared this blog to help you with what you would want to take with you.
Smoking dry herbs while driving is something you should experience at least once. But make sure you don’t overdo it.
Let’s get started.
A lightweight piece
You will need a lightweight piece while you are on the road. If you have one, you are good. If you are reluctant to take your best piece with you, visit us at Vapor Loft if you are around Kansas City, MO and we can suggest some great alternatives.
If you would like some smooth hits during your trip, we recommend either small, travel-sized bongs (the good ones won’t disappoint) or silicone bongs.
Prefer concentrates over dry herbs?
If you are not a dry herbs guy and prefer concentrates more, you will need dab rigs. We suggest going for small dab rigs that won’t take up much space but can still give you an awesome smoking experience on the road. Make sure to pack some dabbing supplies too.
Need something discreet and reliable?
If you like to be discreet, you can always count on the most reliable travel companion ever – the glass pipe. The bowls are small enough to fit anywhere – in your backpack, duffel bag or pocket even. Glass pipes offer a splendid smoking experience and their portability makes them a great choice to take with you during your travels. Just make sure to handle them carefully as they are still made of glass. Good quality glass pipes won’t break easily however. If you need suggestions for reliable glass pipes, feel free to check out our collection.
If it is maximum portability you want, something that fits in your pocket comfortably, vaporizers are what you should take. They are small, discreet, convenient and do not need a lighter. Furthermore, you can choose between dry herb vapes or wax vapes. Using vapes also means you can reduce or eliminate the smell of smoke.
Accessories greatly improve smoking sessions during your travels. Choosing the right accessories depends on your preferences, however.
If you plan to smoke or dab, you will need lighters obviously. If dry herbs are your thing, you will need a grinder too. If you prefer cooler hits from bongs, make sure to take an ash catcher with you.
Some people like to hide the smell of smoke while traveling. If you want to keep a low profile, keep an air freshener with you. We recommend smoking outside if you don’t want your room to smell of smoke. If you do smoke inside, ventilate the room with a fan, take a shower and change your clothes.
